We are excited to bring to you as this years’ keynote speaker, Judy LoBianco.


Judy is a K-12 Supervisor of Health, Physical Education and Nursing in the South Orange-Maplewood Schools in New Jersey. She also is an adjunct professor at Monmouth University, teaching a course in Health Methods. Judy has held many leadership positions in New Jersey, the Eastern District of SHAPE America and with SHAPE America as a member of the Board Directors. She was recently elected President-Elect of SHAPE America. Ms. LoBianco has also received many recognitions including induction in the North America Society, the Channing Mann National PE Supervisor of the Year in 2013 and Honor Awards in New Jersey, the Eastern District and at the National level.

Join SHAPE America President-Elect Judy LoBianco for an inspiring message about the future and our mission to make 50 million children strong and healthy by 2029.


Breakout sessions include: "An Effective Health and Physical Education Program Starts with You!" and "Interviewing with Confidence."

Conference breakout topics will also include: brain education (BE-convergence of Eastern practices & neuroscience); technology (DrumFit-online streaming of fitness exercises); sports injury (Dr. Lin-common causes/non-surgical treatment for shoulders); cross-curriculum/brain & body (Drums Alive-using drumming and movement, integrating math); Elem. & Middle school P.E. & Health (TOYʻs ready-to-go resources); heart rate monitoring (POLAR-wrist-based HRM); project-based learning (PSI model); yoga (Yoga Ed.-yoga using chairs); Wellness Guidelines (using "Blue Zones")
