DRUMTASTIC® Ability Beats™ is presented by Drums Alive and is for educators of all grade levels and disciplines, as well as therapists, recreation leaders, and fitness instructors who work with children and adults with diverse abilities. The foundation, theory, and research behind the DRUMTASTIC® Ability Beats™ program will be presented together with the basic movements and teaching concepts needed to successfully implement the Drums Alive® program in your learning environment. Participants will learn how to use movements that inspire both children and adults with diverse abilities, demonstrating how this research-based fitness, wellness, brain, and body program can foster individual creativity in a fun environment that turns the impossible to I’M POSSIBLE. We will coordinate kinesthetic awareness, neuro-muscular skills, cardiovascular conditioning, flexibility, strength, health, and wellness activities into an inspiring experience that accommodates physiological, emotional and cognitive needs, and taps individual ABILITIES leading to endless possibilities. Participants will experience first-hand how music, balls, and drumsticks create curiosity, promote attention, and support students in achieving a high level of motivation.

Registration in the workshop includes a DRUMTASTIC® Ability Beats™ Sampler Manual, a pair of drumsticks, a certificate of completion, and lunch. Please bring water, a towel, and an optional change of clothes as this is a fun and active workshop!
